The Bombay High Court today sought the Centre's response to pleas challenging the FSSAI's ban on flavoured rum and whisky variants. Senior counsel Navroz Seervai argued the prohibition was causing heavy losses to Old Monk maker Mohan Rocky Springwater Breweries. The court will hear the matter next on August 24 and is expected to pass an order.
