Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said India aims to raise women’s participation in the aviation workforce to 25%. Women currently account for 15% of India's pilots, compared with 5% globally. Naidu said the target will cover pilots, airport jobs, eVTOLs, and emerging aviation sectors while encouraging greater participation and leadership.
