Gujarat Bans Analogue Paneer, Cheese And Butter

Gujarat has banned the production, storage, transport and sale of unstandardised analogue paneer, cheese and butter across the state. The government said inspections found misleading non-dairy products that may affect health and harm dairy farmers. Officials warned of strict legal action against violators under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
