Centre Denies Plan To Extend Parliament Session

The Centre said there is no plan to extend the current Parliament session or hold a special session after August 13. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju denied reports about discussions on the Delimitation and Women's Reservation Bills. Meanwhile, Parliament approved a Bill increasing Supreme Court judges from 34 to 38, including the Chief Justice.
