BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 opened in positive territory toda but quickly slipped into the red during early trade. Despite a stronger rupee and falling oil prices, market sentiment remained weak. Adani Ports, SBI, Airtel, L&T and ICICI were among the early gainers, while Trent, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank faced selling pressure.
