World Bank President Ajay Banga warned of an 800 million global jobs gap over the next 10-15 years, as 1.2 billion young people enter the workforce but only 400 million jobs are projected. Addressing the 2026 Annual Meeting in Bangkok, he urged increased private investment, technology adoption and development financing to boost employment opportunities worldwide.
