Telangana celebrates the 7th day of Bathukamma as Vepakayala Bathukamma with devotion fervour. Women arrange colourful flowers, including Tangedu, Gunugu and Chamanti, in 7 circular tiers. Rice flour offerings shaped like neem fruits, known as Vepakayalu, are presented to the Goddess. Devotees pray for their families' good health, prosperity and long life.
