Indian stock markets rebounded in early trade, with Sensex rising 305 points to 72,224.15 and the Nifty gaining 93.40 points to 22,458.50. HCL Tech surged nearly 5% after reporting a 21.18% increase in Q2 FY27 net profit to ₹5,132 crore. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HDFC and Trent also gained, while NTPC, Power Grid, Maruti and Kotak Mahindra Bank declined.
