AP Congress president YS Sharmila was placed under house arrest at her residence in Kesarapalli, Gannavaram, ahead of party's 'Chalo Raj Bhavan' protest scheduled for today. Police deployed a heavy force near her residence as Congress leaders planned a march from Vijayawada's Lenin Centre to Raj Bhavan. Authorities also enforced Section 30 of the Police Act.
