Delhi Police detained around 500 people arriving in groups at Ferozeshah Road ahead of the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar. Barricades were placed 500 metres from the venue to restrict movement. Police also arrested 50 people with alleged criminal backgrounds. New Delhi was divided into 20 security zones, with stadiums designated as detention centres.
