Sree Vishnu's "Comrade Kalyan", releasing on Oct 9, blends comedy with a Naxal backdrop, making it an unconventional attempt. Directed by Janiakiram Marella, the film depends on Vishnu's comic timing while retaining emotional depth. Balancing humour with the serious setting is challenging, but the experiment could potentially deliver a strong box-office comeback.
