Actor Rajpal Yadav has received a final deadline from the Supreme Court to deposit ₹2 crore in connection with a case. Chief Justice of India Surya Kant made a pointed remark, saying, "Your Money Is Also Ata Pata Laapata". The court further observed that the law should not be utilised in such a manner and directed compliance with its order.
