The World Bank has raised India’s FY27 GDP growth forecast to 7.1% from 6.6%, citing stronger growth. Exports and industrial activity have performed well, while private consumption is expected to drive growth. Infrastructure and construction also remain strong. However, high energy prices, global uncertainty and weak monsoon conditions pose risks.
