Electricity bills in Telangana are set to rise from November 1 after the Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC) approved the collection of true-up charges. Consumers will pay an additional 30 paise per unit in November, increasing to 50 paise from December. The added burden will continue for 29 months under SPDCL and 26 months under NPDCL.
