Five cheetah cubs have been born at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, taking India’s cheetah population to 60, including 41 born in the country. The cubs were born to KJP21, an India-born female, and a Botswana-born male. Their arrival marks the beginning of a new Botswana genetic lineage in India’s cheetah conservation programme.
