Maharashtra Announces 10% Water Cut From October 16

Maharashtra will impose a minimum 10% water cut across urban and rural local bodies from October 16 due to deficient monsoon rainfall. The government will prioritise drinking water, maintain emergency dam reserves and promote wastewater reuse. Industries must recycle 30% of water used, while drought-hit areas will receive loan, power and other relief.
