Uruguay’s football team explored Kolkata ahead of its friendly against India on October 6. The players visited Eden Gardens and tried cricket before seeing the Victoria Memorial and St Paul’s Cathedral. Uruguay had played at Eden Gardens in 1982. The team, coached by Diego Forlán, will now prepare for the match against India.
