From CBI To Politics: Nageshwar Rao's New Role

M Nageshwar Rao, former CBI Director, has taken charge as the national president of Sarvajana Sanatan Party in Varanasi. A 1986-batch IPS officer from Andhra Pradesh cadre, Rao served as CBI's interim director in 2018-19. Known for his long policing career and administrative experience, he now enters active politics, leading the party from its Varanasi base.
