Union Home Minister Amit Shah said narco-trafficking kingpin Navpreet Singh has been deported from Turkiye and brought back to India. Shah said Singh obtained Turkish citizenship using the fake identity Navab Virk and smuggled heroin and methamphetamine from Afghanistan. Indian agencies tracked him down and secured his deportation to India.
