SC Calls For Stricter Action On Unpaid Vehicle Challans

The Supreme Court directed states and UTs to suspend vehicle services for owners with unpaid traffic fines. Registration, fitness and PUC certificates, ownership transfers and licence renewals will be blocked until dues are cleared. Vehicles with outstanding e-challans will be blacklisted on Parivahan, while licences may be suspended for multiple violations.
