The Calcutta High Court today dismissed the Congress' plea seeking the disqualification of BJP's Nandigram bypoll candidate Hasirani Rath over an alleged discrepancy between her age and school passing-out year in her election affidavit. Rath was fielded from the seat vacated by CM Suvendu Adhikari after retaining Bhabanipur following the 2026 Assembly elections.
