Police said AI-generated videos falsely showing the complete demolition of Ujjain's Shahi Masjid fuelled rumours and clashes. Only a portion was being removed for a road project. Eight FIRs were filed against 20 people, including five content creators. Fifteen people were detained. CCTV and drones are being used to identify stone-pelters.
