Vithya Ramraj Bags Historic 400m Hurdles Bronze

Vithya Ramraj won bronze in the women's 400m hurdles at the Asian Games 2026, clocking a personal-best 54.75 seconds. She broke PT Usha's 42-year-old national record of 55.42s, set at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Ramraj had equalled the mark in 2023 and now holds it outright after securing her second successive Asian Games bronze.
