Bhadrachalam On Alert As Godavari Rises To 40 Feet

The Godavari River has risen to 40 feet at Bhadrachalam temple in Telangana, while the water level at Kunavaram reached 48.56 feet. Inflow and outflow at the barrage remain at 5.61 lakh cusecs. Flood discharge is expected to peak at 9 lakh cusecs before declining. The TG Disaster Management Agency has deployed SDRF teams and urged people to avoid causeways.
