Baranica Elangovan Wins India's First Pole Vault Medal

Baranica Elangovan became India's first pole vault medallist at the Asian Games, sharing bronze with Kazakhstan's Polina Ivanova after both cleared 4.15m. India's medal tally reached 23: two gold, nine silver, 12 bronze. Gulveer Singh and Manpreet Kaur also won athletics medals. India won gold in shooting, plus medals in table tennis and squash.
