Venugopal Demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar's Arrest

Congress leader KC Venugopal demanded the arrest of CEC Gyanesh Kumar over reported differences within the Election Commission. He said the Congress Working Committee and INDIA Bloc will discuss the issue next week. Congress workers protested in Thiruvananthapuram, while CPI(M)'s Vijayan also sought Kumar's removal and urged nationwide protests from Sept 26 to Oct 2.
