Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said the India-US trade deal is almost finalised, with the remaining issue being a competitive tariff advantage for Indian exporters. The two countries are working on a mechanism to ensure Indian goods receive favourable tariff treatment. Once the framework is settled, the deal can move toward implementation.
