Microsoft Opens Fourth Cloud Region In Telangana

Microsoft opened its India South Central data centre in Telangana on September 24. IT Minister D Sridhar Babu said Telangana targets 5 GW of data centre capacity by 2029 and USD 30 billion in investment. This is Microsoft's fourth cloud region in India, with a three-zone design for AI and cloud growth. Hyderabad already hosts over 2.5 GW of capacity.
