The Southwest Monsoon withdrawn from Delhi today, September 23, marking its earliest departure from the capital city since 2002. According to the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon line also retreated from parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat. Drier weather conditions are now expected to set in across northwestern India.
