Congress’ Nandigram bypoll candidate Milan Pradhan was remanded to judicial custody until October 5 by a Contai court in connection with a 2007 case linked to the Nandigram agitation. Pradhan, arrested on September 18, is facing multiple cases. His lawyer said the custody order will be challenged in the Calcutta High Court ahead of polling.
