IIT Bombay has suspended Professor Suryanarayana Doolla from his dean’s role following the suicide of BTech student. The institute said further action will depend on the ongoing probe. Doolla was named in an FIR over allegations of harassment and caste discrimination. IIT Bombay also apologised for earlier statements about Wakode’s death.
