Suchika Tariyal Wins Historic MMA Bronze

Indian MMA athlete Suchika Tariyal made history by winning India's first mixed martial arts medal at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya. The 36-year-old claimed bronze in the women's traditional 60 kg event after losing to Singapore's Hui Hoon Teo in the semifinal. Earlier, Tariyal defeated Mongolia's Altanchimeg Baigalmaa 2-0 in the quarterfinal.
