Petrol pump dealers across MP will stop accepting UPI payments above ₹2,000 from October 15. The state association, representing around 4,700 dealers, cited financial concerns over the new merchant discount rate. Dealers plan to accept cash for higher-value purchases, saying the additional charges could strain their already limited profit margins.
