Radha Ashtami is being celebrated with grandeur today, Sept 19, at Barsana in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district. At the Ladli Ji Temple, festivities began before sunrise with devotional singing around 2 AM. The celebrations include special rituals, abhishek, and bhog, followed by an evening procession. Barsana is regarded as Radha Rani's birthplace and home.
