India-Born Cheetah KGP12 Gives Birth To Four Cubs

An India-born cheetah, KGP12, has given birth to four cubs at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, marking a milestone for Project Cheetah. The news came a day after the reintroduction programme completed four years. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav called it a historic moment. Cheetahs were declared extinct in India in 1952, and the programme began in September 2022.
