Veteran Kannada actor Anant Nag will receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2024 for his contribution to Indian cinema. The PIB announced the news on Wednesday. PM Narendra Modi congratulated him, praising his effortless performances, versatility and authenticity across decades, especially in Kannada cinema, calling it a richly deserved honour.
