Karnataka will officially celebrate Engineers’ Day from 2027, CM DK Shivakumar said. He said the state produces over one lakh engineering graduates each year and should recognise their role in development and technology. Speaking after paying tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya in Bengaluru, he said engineers are key to turning ideas into useful solutions.
