Vande Mataram Played At India-Afghanistan T20I, Congress Objects

For the first time at an international sporting event, the full six-stanza Vande Mataram was played before India’s T20I against Afghanistan in Delhi. The BCCI plans to play the national song before the opening match of every home series. Congress questioned the move, citing its 1937 decision to use only the first two stanzas.
