BCCI Clarifies India Women’s Asia Cup Trophy Decision

BCCI clarified that India’s women’s team declined to receive the Asia Cup trophy from ACC chief Naqvi in solidarity with the men’s team’s stance last year. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said Naqvi’s position as a senior Pakistani political figure influenced the decision. The board had informed the ACC beforehand about this.
