Delhi will set up its own State Disaster Response Force with up to 1,100 personnel following the Satya Niketan building collapse. The force will receive training from the NDRF and handle rescue and relief operations. The government will also train fire and civil defence teams and strengthen the NDRF’s presence across the capital.
