Sonam Wangchuk has warned of a fresh protest in Ladakh from September 19 to 24 if the Centre fails to give assurances within a week. Ladakh groups are demanding statehood, constitutional safeguards and an elected body. They were disappointed after talks with Home Ministry officials, saying no draft for the proposed elected body was presented.
