Chandigarh has suspended Uber and Rapido’s licences for 6 months over repeated transport rule violations. The State Transport Authority cited issues with insurance, driver training, fares, locked offices and non-commercial vehicles. The action followed several notices and inspections. Ola and inDrive had also faced similar licence suspensions earlier this year.
