A Delhi court has sent right-wing influencer Swatantra Bharadwaj to 14 days of judicial custody over an alleged assault during a June protest at Jantar Mantar. Police arrested him in Uttar Pradesh after protests demanding his arrest. The case includes charges under the SC/ST Act and criminal intimidation. Bharadwaj has claimed he acted in self-defence.
