Security has been tightened across Shillong ahead of Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan's September 7-8 visit after tyres were burnt at four locations. Three companies of Meghalaya Police have been deployed. Radhakrishnan will lay foundation stones for five infrastructure projects worth ₹1,010.95 crore, covering water supply, roads, power and healthcare.
