Telangana Flags Polavaram Flood Threat To Villages

Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has warned that Polavaram backwaters could submerge villages and houses along the Godavari Basin. He said inflows of 20 to 30 lakh cusecs could cause unprecedented damage due to restricted water flow. Reddy urged the Centre and stakeholder states to reconsider the project and conduct a fresh review.
