Rajasthan's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Social Justice Dept Joint Director Jaiprakash Charan for accepting a ₹3 lakh bribe in Ajmer. Officials said Charan demanded the money to issue a deal letter for an institution and clear its bills. Acting on a complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught him accepting the bribe. Further probe is still underway.
