India's Tejas Mk1A fighter programme received a boost as GE Aerospace delivered three more F404-IN20 engines to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in August 2026. The latest consignment takes total deliveries to 10. Under a 2021 contract worth ₹5,375 crore, GE Aerospace is supplying HAL with 99 engines for the Tejas Mk1A programme and fleet.
