Nepal is moving to rebuild its landslide early-warning system along the China border after a devastating glacial flood killed more than 1,000 people. The upgraded network will use sensors, cameras and satellite links to provide faster alerts. Authorities also want stronger data-sharing with China to monitor glacier movements and water levels.
