Chicken lovers in Bengaluru may face inconvenience as the Karnataka Poultry Traders Association has announced the closure of chicken shops on Sept 3 and 4. The traders are protesting against a tax imposed by Bengaluru Solid Waste Management authorities on chicken waste. The shutdown could affect supplies, as 7 lakh kgs of chicken are sold in the city daily.
