German star football defender Antonio Rudiger, 33, has announced his retirement from international football. He made his Germany debut in 2014 and went on to play 86 matches for the team. Rudiger represented Germany at three FIFA World Cups and two European Championships. Explaining his decision, the defender said he wanted to make way for younger players.
